Our company, named Bektaslar mining company,which joined to brunch of mining in 1975, had won a lot of successes at chromium,zinc and lead branches.
Our company , which is outstanding as underground and open administration and having a large amount of production capacity particularly in metal mining in different cities in our country , is among the componies that have made the biggest productions in Turkey with 525.000 tone underground chromium production.
Our company , which believes that metal mining has become out of fashion in time and there is a decrease in production in the world as well as in Turkey , has participated in marble industry very fast that became a branch of mining in 2000 and that it will be outstanding in the world’s production and technology with the name of BEK-MER marble company.
Our company , which will be mentioned in the marble industry too , has aimed to export to the most productive and technological companies in the global world instead of the important companies of turkey in this branch of mining.
According to this aim it has formed its background and the needed staff. It continues its working nonstop.
Our Marble Quarry , Elazig Rosso Levanto Marble Quarry , in Elazig, is about to be the leader in its area with 7.000.000 tone reserve .
Although the production improvement working and reserve improvement working were started in mentioned Rosso Levanto Marble Quarry in 2000, this quarry has made large amounts of sales to abroad (China Republic). In this quarry , export working is runned in on important way and our production and sales still go on.
For Beige Marble areas in Pertek and in Malatya, needed background and reserve working along with the other technical working needed for production have been completed and by spring 2004, beige marble production and export will have started .
Marble production and marble technical background have been studied parallel to “ The Big Aims of our company Remaining Mining” and in this industry outstanding working continues nonstop
In the near future , our company , which will vary its productions , will toke its place with different kinds of beige marble and different kinds of travertines in the marble industiy.
